The school promotes independence, celebrates every achievement and provides a supportive team environment where staff work together to help pupils reach their full potential.
The school is looking to appoint a full-time Personal Care Assistant on a long-term basis from September. The successful Personal Care Assistant will support pupils with complex learning needs throughout the school day, providing personal care, including toileting where required, assisting with learning activities and encouraging pupils to develop confidence and independence in a safe and caring environment.
The successful Personal Care Assistant will have:
- Experience supporting children or young people with SEND, particularly complex learning needs
- Experience providing personal care, including toileting, with dignity and compassion
- A calm, patient and caring approach
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
- A proactive attitude and willingness to get stuck in
