The school aspires to develop a love for learning to lead their children through their learning journey, striving to be the best they can be. The Primary School is looking to take on an experienced Teaching Assistant / TA that is familiar working with children who have additional learning needs on a 1:1 basis. The successful candidate will be working closely with the class teacher to best support younger pupils with a range of special educational needs, including ADHD and challenging behaviour. This role will be a great opportunity to expand your classroom management skills and receive an abundance of experience to help build your CV.

The successful Teaching Assistant / TA will have:

  • Minimum Level 2 Teaching Assistant / TA qualification OR 6 months experience in an educational establishment
  • Ability to use your initiative to respond to situations
  • A good understanding of child protection and safeguarding guidelines
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
