Salary: £14.50 - £16.50 per hour

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a 45-place nursery in Penarth in their search for a Deputy Nursery Manager. The setting provides an Early Years environment where children can learn, develop and build confidence through positive experiences.

The nursery is looking to appoint a Deputy Nursery Manager on a permanent, full-time basis, working 4 days per week. The successful Deputy Nursery Manager will support the Nursery Manager with the day-to-day running of the setting, helping to maintain high standards of care and ensuring the needs of the children are consistently met.

The successful Deputy Nursery Manager will have:

  • A Level 3 childcare qualification
  • Experience working within an Early Years or nursery setting
  • A good understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage / EYFS
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • The confidence to support and work effectively with the nursery team
  • A caring, positive and professional approach
