The Role
- Deliver pre-set work in the absence of the class teacher
- Maintain a positive and productive classroom environment
- Manage classroom behaviour confidently and effectively
- Support pupils to stay engaged with their learning
- Work across a variety of subjects and year groups
- Build positive relationships with pupils and school staff
- Adapt to different schools and classroom settings
Requirements
- Previous experience working with children or young people is desirable
- Confident managing groups of pupils in a classroom setting
- Excellent communication and behaviour management skills
- Calm, professional, and adaptable approach
- A genuine passion for education and supporting young people
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
