Are you an empathetic and organised Pastoral Support Manager with experience of raising standards and pupil achievement?

The Academy is looking to appoint a Pastoral Support Manager on a permanent basis, working 37 hours per week for 43 weeks of the year. The successful Pastoral Support Manager will work alongside Progress Leaders to support the strategic direction of the year group, provide guidance around students' learning, emotional and social wellbeing, health and safety and personal development, and work proactively with vulnerable students.

The successful Pastoral Support Manager will have:

  • A minimum of 5 GCSEs including Maths and English at grades 4-9, or equivalent
  • An understanding of the National Curriculum, particularly core subject areas
  • A proven record of raising standards and pupil achievement
  • Experience supporting the social, emotional and educational development of students
  • The ability to build positive and trusting relationships with young people
  • A driven, empathetic and organised approach to pastoral support
