TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream secondary school based in Middlesbrough, who are looking to appoint a Pastoral Cover Supervisor on a long-term basis. The school has a strong behaviour policy in place and is committed to creating a positive learning environment where students are supported both academically and pastorally.

The school is looking for a resilient and proactive Pastoral Cover Supervisor to deliver pre-prepared work across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4. The successful Pastoral Cover Supervisor will be expected to follow the school’s behaviour policies, manage challenging behaviour within the classroom and promote positive behaviour throughout the school environment.

Qualifications
  • Experience working with secondary school students
  • Strong behaviour management skills
  • Experience managing challenging behaviour
  • Confidence delivering pre-prepared lessons across KS3 / KS4
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • A calm, professional and adaptable approach
