About the Role:

Are you an adaptable Teaching Assistant with experience supporting children within the classroom? Do you have the confidence to support pupils on a one-to-one basis with additional learning needs? Are you looking to work within a welcoming Church in Wales Primary School?

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a welcoming Church in Wales Primary School in Monmouth, who are looking to appoint a dedicated Teaching Assistant. The school prides itself on providing a nurturing and inclusive learning environment where pupils are encouraged to thrive both academically and socially.

The school is looking to take on a part time Teaching Assistant after half term. The successful Teaching Assistant will be supporting within a Year 3 classroom as a general Teaching Assistant, while also working on a one-to-one basis with a child with additional needs, helping to support their learning, engagement and emotional wellbeing throughout the school day.

Qualifications:

  • Experience working within a UK Primary School setting
  • Experience supporting children with additional learning needs

  • Strong communication and classroom support skills
  • The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
