This rewarding role offers the opportunity to support children and young people who require personalised education outside of a traditional school setting, helping them build confidence, develop key skills and achieve positive outcomes.
The Local Authority is looking to appoint Outreach Tutors on a long-term basis due to an increase in demand across Herefordshire. The successful Outreach Tutor will deliver tailored 1:1 tuition within home and community settings, adapting lessons to suit individual learning needs while building positive relationships with pupils, families and professionals to support educational progress.
The successful Outreach Tutor will have:
- QTS, QTLS or relevant UK recognised teaching qualification
- Experience delivering 1:1 tuition or supporting children and young people outside of a mainstream classroom
