Our Supply Teachers/Cover Supervisors play a vital role in schools, whether on a day to day, long-term or permanent basis. The role of a Supply Teacher/Cover Supervisor doesn't include planning and preparation; however strong communication and classroom management skills are a must.
Responsibilities
- The successful Supply Teacher/Cover Supervisor in Wakefield will have:
- CACHE LEVEL 2/3 OR 6 months experience
- Be confident in their ability to manage a class of students within the age range 11 to 16+
- Be able to manage behaviour in the classroom to ensure students remain engaged
- Be flexible to work throughout the school within different departments and with different age ranges daily
