TeacherActive is proud to be working with a specialist provision in Liverpool, supporting students with social, emotional and mental health needs. The setting provides a nurturing and structured environment focused on helping students build confidence, improve emotional regulation and re‑engage with education in a positive way.
The school is looking to take on a dedicated Nurture Teacher on a temp to perm basis, starting as soon as possible. The successful Nurture Teacher will work closely with students requiring additional emotional support, delivering engaging lessons and creating a safe and inclusive learning environment that promotes both academic and personal development.
Requirements:
- QTS
- Experience working with children or young people with SEMH needs
- Strong behaviour management and de‑escalation skills
- The ability to build positive and trusting relationships with students
- A calm, patient and adaptable approach
- A genuine passion for supporting students with additional needs
