Are you a passionate Nurture Teacher with experience supporting students with SEMH needs? Do you have the resilience and creativity to engage pupils who require additional emotional and behavioural support? TeacherActive is proud to be working with a specialist provision in Liverpool, supporting students with social, emotional and mental health needs. The setting provides a nurturing and structured environment focused on helping students build confidence, improve emotional regulation and re-engage with education in a positive way.

The school is looking to take on a dedicated Nurture Teacher on a temp to perm basis, starting as soon as possible. The successful Nurture Teacher will work closely with students requiring additional emotional support, delivering engaging lessons and creating a safe and inclusive learning environment that promotes both academic and personal development.

The successful Nurture Teacher will have:

  • QTS
  • Experience working with children or young people with SEMH needs
  • Strong behaviour management and de-escalation skills
  • The ability to build positive and trusting relationships with students
  • A calm, patient and adaptable approach
  • A genuine passion for supporting students with additional needs
