TeacherActive is proud to be working with a well-established nursery group in York to recruit a Nursery Practitioner. This welcoming and child-centred setting is committed to creating a nurturing environment where children can learn, develop and reach their full potential, whilst offering excellent opportunities for career progression within the wider nursery chain.
The nursery is looking to appoint a part-time Nursery Practitioner on a long-term basis. The successful Nursery Practitioner will support children across the early years age range, delivering engaging activities, promoting development in line with the EYFS framework and helping to create a safe, stimulating learning environment.
The successful Nursery Practitioner will have:
- Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification
- Experience working within a nursery or early years setting
- Good knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum
- A caring and nurturing approach to supporting children's development
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A positive and proactive attitude
