A wonderful school based in Nottingham City has an opportunity arising for Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistants. The role will entail working 1:1 with children with challenging behaviour. SEND experience is required.

The ideal SEN TA / Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant should have the following:

  • Level 2 or 3 qualified and/or a minimum of 6 months’ experience in an educational establishment
  • A calm, patient and caring persona
  • Good communication skills
  • A good understanding of child protection and safeguarding guidelines
  • Experience in working with supporting students in their education on a 1:1 and a small group basis

Successful applicants will be required to complete an enhanced Child and Adult DBS disclosure and provide at least 2 references.
