The school is dedicated to developing confident, well-rounded young people and supporting students to become global citizens within an ambitious and inclusive learning environment.
The school is looking to appoint a full-time Subject Lead Drama on a long-term maternity cover contract from November 2026, with the role expected to continue until July 2027. The successful Subject Leader of Drama will teach Drama across Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5, taking responsibility for planning, preparation, assessment and delivering engaging lessons while maintaining high standards of teaching and learning throughout the department.
The successful Subject Lead Drama will have:
- QTS with a Drama specialism at degree level
- Experience teaching Drama across Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5
- Previous experience leading or supporting within a Drama department is required
- Excellent classroom management and behaviour management skills
- A passion for delivering engaging and creative Drama lessons
- Strong organisational and communication skills
