Join a warm and welcoming Primary School in Northfield as an After School Club Assistant. This is a brilliant opportunity to become part of a successful, close-knit team in a school known for its excellent behaviour standards and dedicated staff.
The Role
- Start: Immediate
- Hours: Part-time, Monday to Friday, 3:00pm – 5:15pm
- Contract: Ongoing, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate
You’ll be supporting children aged 5–11, helping to create a fun, safe and positive environment at the end of the school day. Your responsibilities will include:
- Supervising and engaging pupils during after-school activities
- Encouraging positive behaviour, teamwork and active play
- Promoting good dining habits and social interaction
- Ensuring the health, safety and wellbeing of all children at all times
The Ideal Candidate
We’re keen to hear from individuals who:
- Have at least 6 months’ experience working with children (ideally in a UK school)
- Have worked in roles such as Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant, Cover Supervisor, or similar
- Are passionate about education and going the extra mile
- Are patient, nurturing and resilient
- Can adapt well to a dynamic school environment
- Are committed, enthusiastic and reliable
