A well‑established further education setting in Northampton is seeking a dedicated Sport Lecturer to join their successful Sport and Public Services department. The provision is known for its strong focus on vocational learning, excellent facilities, and commitment to helping learners progress into higher education, apprenticeships, or employment within the sports industry.
This is a permanent, full‑time Sport Lecturer role starting in September. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering high‑quality BTEC Sport lessons across Levels 1–3, including theory and practical sessions. You will assess learner progress, provide structured feedback, and support students in achieving their qualifications. The role also involves contributing to curriculum development and maintaining strong links with industry practices.
Qualifications:
- A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed or equivalent)
- Experience delivering BTEC Sport across Levels 1–3
