Job Title: SEND Teacher (QTS) English and ICT

Salary: £180 - £220 per day
TeacherActive is proud to be working with a SEND school in Gateshead that provides a supportive and inclusive learning environment for children and young people aged 5 to 20 years. The school is committed to helping every student reach their full potential through personalised learning, high‑quality teaching and a nurturing approach that promotes independence and confidence.
The school is looking to appoint a permanent SEND Teacher (QTS) English and ICT from 24th August. The successful SEND Teacher will teach English and ICT across a range of age groups, adapting lessons to meet individual learning needs while supporting students with additional needs and encouraging positive outcomes both academically and personally.
Qualifications
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
- Experience teaching English and ICT within a UK school
- Experience supporting children and young people with additional needs
- Excellent classroom management and behaviour management skills
- The ability to adapt lessons to meet individual learning needs
- A positive, patient and flexible approach
