Job Title: Children's Deputy Manager

About the Role
The residential home provides a safe, supportive and nurturing environment for young people aged 12 to 18, with a strong focus on delivering high‑quality, child‑centred care that enables every young person to achieve their full potential. The role is a long‑term position with the possibility of a permanent role for the right candidate.
The successful Children's Deputy Manager will support the Registered Manager by managing and supervising the staff team during their absence, ensuring the home continues to deliver exceptional care for children and young people with SEMH, ADHD and a range of learning difficulties.
Qualifications & Experience
- Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) as a minimum
- Previous experience working within a children's residential setting
- Experience supporting children and young people with SEMH, ADHD and learning difficulties
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities
- A positive, child‑focused approach with the ability to remain calm under pressure
