TeacherActive is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming school in the Newton Abbot area for an immediate start.
We are looking for a supportive and proactive individual who is passionate about helping children achieve their full potential. Experience working with pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) is highly desirable.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Have previous experience working with children in a school or educational setting.
- Be confident supporting pupils on a one-to-one basis and in small groups.
- Have experience supporting children with SEND.
- Be able to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
- Demonstrate patience, flexibility, and a positive attitude.
- Be able to drive and have access to a vehicle (preferred but not essential).
