Salary: £172.98 - £210 per day

Are you a passionate ICT Teacher who can inspire students to develop their digital skills and knowledge? Do you have experience teaching ICT across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4? Are you a dedicated ICT Teacher looking for a long-term opportunity within a supportive secondary school?

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream secondary school based in Newport. This inclusive and forward-thinking school embraces technology throughout the curriculum and is committed to providing students with the skills they need to succeed in an increasingly digital world.

The school is looking to take on a driven ICT Teacher on a long-term basis until the end of the academic year, with the potential to become permanent for the right ICT Teacher. The successful ICT Teacher will be teaching across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4, including supporting students with coursework and GCSE preparation whilst delivering engaging lessons in line with the curriculum and schemes of learning.

The successful ICT Teacher will have:

  • QTS with an ICT or Computer Science specialism (ECTs are welcome to apply)
  • Experience teaching ICT up to Key Stage 4 / KS4
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
  • The ability to deliver engaging and differentiated lessons
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • A proactive and enthusiastic teaching approach
