Are you an experienced One to One Teaching Assistant who is passionate about supporting children with challenging needs? Do you have the patience, resilience and confidence to build positive relationships with pupils who require additional support? Are you a qualified Level 2 Teaching Assistant looking for a full-time role in a supportive educational setting?

The setting places a strong focus on supporting every child to achieve their full potential through personalised learning and positive behaviour support strategies.

The school is looking to appoint a full-time One to One Teaching Assistant on a long-term basis. The successful One to One Teaching Assistant will work closely with a pupil who presents with challenging needs, providing tailored support, promoting engagement in learning and helping to develop social, emotional and behavioural skills throughout the school day.

The successful One to One Teaching Assistant will have:

  • Minimum Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification
  • Experience working with children with challenging needs
  • Strong behaviour management and de-escalation skills
  • Ability to build positive and trusting relationships with pupils
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • A patient, resilient and proactive approach
