Salary: £172.98 - £210 per day

Job Overview: TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream secondary school based in Newport. The school is looking to take on a driven French Teacher on a long-term basis until the end of the academic year, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate. The school promotes a positive learning culture where staff are supported to help students achieve their full potential.

Responsibilities: The successful French Teacher will be teaching French across Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4), including preparing students for GCSE examinations and delivering engaging lessons in line with the schemes of learning. The role requires strong classroom and behaviour management skills and the ability to deliver engaging and differentiated lessons.

Qualifications:

  • QTS with a Modern Foreign Languages specialism (ECTs are welcome to apply)
  • Experience teaching French up to Key Stage 4 / KS4
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Ability to deliver engaging and differentiated lessons
