Location: Newcastle, Gateshead, Northumberland, Durham, Sunderland

Start Date: Immediate start & Easter 2026

Salary: £150 per day (paid to scale)

Shift Patterns: Part-time & Full-time availability

Responsibilities

  • Work with our secondary schools across the North to support students and maintain a safe, stable environment.
  • Encourage a positive and engaging learning environment while managing and addressing behaviour challenges within the classroom.
  • Support teacher-led delivery where applicable and assist with student progress and development.

What You’ll Need

  • A calm, patient approach with a sense of humour
  • Music specialism
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in the face of challenges
  • Experience managing challenging behaviour
  • Team spirit, emotional resilience, and great communication
  • Experience delivering subjects across the curriculum
  • Ability to tailor lessons to meet individual students’ needs and learning styles
  • Experience planning and marking
