Love helping little ones learn, explore and grow? TeacherActive is looking for an enthusiastic Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to join a fantastic private day nursery in Newcastle upon Tyne. If your perfect working day involves plenty of smiles, story time, sensory play and helping children achieve those exciting early milestones, this could be the opportunity for you.
You'll be joining a friendly and supportive nursery team that is passionate about creating a safe, engaging and nurturing environment where every child has the opportunity to thrive. You'll work across the nursery, supporting children's individual needs and creating exciting opportunities for them to learn, develop and build their confidence. This is a long-term opportunity with the potential to become permanent for the right Early Years Practitioner.
What will you be doing?
- You’ll work closely with an experienced nursery team to create a safe, happy and stimulating environment where children can learn, explore and thrive.
- You’ll help plan and deliver engaging activities, encourage communication and language development, support growing independence and celebrate children's achievements along the way.
- You’ll support children at different stages of their Early Years journey and work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure their individual needs are met.
What are we looking for?
- A Level 3 Childcare qualification or equivalent
- Previous experience working with young children in an Early Years setting
- A genuine passion for helping children learn, develop and have fun
- A warm, caring and positive personality
- Plenty of enthusiasm, creativity and energy
- A flexible, proactive and ‘can-do’ attitude
- The ability to work confidently as part of a team
