These homes place a strong emphasis on building positive relationships, promoting independence and helping every child reach their full potential.
We are looking for dedicated Children's Home Support Workers to join on either a long-term or permanent basis. The successful Children's Home Support Worker will support children of various ages with a range of additional needs including Learning Difficulties, SEMH, Autism and ADHD, helping to provide high-quality care, emotional support and positive daily routines while promoting well-being and development.
The successful Children's Home Support Worker will have:
- Level 3 Children and Young People's Workforce qualification or willingness to work towards it
- Experience working within children's residential care or supporting children and young people with additional needs
- Experience supporting children with Learning Difficulties, SEMH, Autism and ADHD
- A caring, patient and resilient approach
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Flexibility to work a range of shifts where required
