TeacherActive is proud to be working with a welcoming Primary School in Neath, who are looking to appoint a dedicated Teaching Assistant on a full-time basis for the new academic year. The school prides itself on creating a supportive and engaging learning environment where pupils are encouraged to develop both academically and socially.

The school is looking to take on a proactive Teaching Assistant from September 2026 to work across both Key Stage 1 / KS1 and Key Stage 2 / KS2. The successful Teaching Assistant will support the class teacher with classroom activities, small group interventions and pupil engagement, while helping to maintain a positive learning environment throughout the school day.

The successful Teaching Assistant will have:

  • Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification desirable
  • Experience working within a UK Primary School setting
  • Experience supporting children across KS1 and KS2
  • Strong communication and classroom support skills
  • A positive and patient approach to supporting pupils
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team
