We are seeking a dedicated Secondary English Teacher who combines strong behaviour management skills with creativity and a nurturing approach. You will collaborate with a forward-thinking team to deliver an innovative curriculum, maintaining high expectations and fostering a lifelong love of learning in all pupils.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality English lessons in line with the Curriculum for Wales framework.
- Plan and assess effectively to meet diverse learners' needs, including those with additional learning requirements.
- Maintain excellent classroom and behaviour management to create a positive learning environment.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and innovate the curriculum.
- Uphold high standards and expectations for all pupils, encouraging engagement and achievement.
Candidate Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- PGCE or PCET qualifications will also be considered.
- Proven excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
- Familiarity with the Curriculum for Wales and its expectations.
- Strong understanding of planning and assessment processes.
- Ability to confidently teach across a range of subjects and disciplines is advantageous.
