The college provides excellent practical learning facilities and is dedicated to developing learners through hands-on experience, industry-focused teaching and an inclusive learning environment.

The college is looking to appoint a permanent, full-time Lecturer in Animal Welfare & Management for an August Start. The successful Lecturer will deliver engaging lessons across a range of full-time, part-time and short courses, tutor student groups, contribute to curriculum development, support practical learning activities and ensure learners are equipped with the knowledge and skills required for careers within the animal welfare industry.

The successful Lecturer will have:

  • A relevant qualification in Animal Welfare, Animal Management or a related subject
  • A recognised teaching qualification or the willingness to work towards one
  • Experience teaching or working within the animal welfare or animal management sector
  • Strong organisational, administrative and IT skills with the ability to manage learner progress and course administration
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and support learners
  • A commitment to safeguarding, health and safety, equality, diversity and inclusion
