We are looking to take on a SEND Teaching Assistant on a day-to-day basis with the opportunity for a long-term position for the right candidate. The successful SEND Teaching Assistant will be supporting students with complex needs, requiring Manual Handling and Moving and Handling, working closely with staff to ensure student safety, engagement, and development.

Qualifications:

  • At least 6 months experience working within a UK education setting
  • Experience supporting children or young people with SEND
  • Manual Handling or Moving and Handling training
  • A calm, patient, and caring approach
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • A proactive and flexible attitude
