Are you an enthusiastic Unqualified Nursery Practitioner with a passion for supporting young children's development? Do you have between 3 and 6 months' experience working in a UK nursery setting? Are you proactive, engaging and confident working with large groups of children in a fast-paced Early Years environment?

TeacherActive is proud to be working with busy nurseries across Stockport who are looking to welcome enthusiastic Unqualified Nursery Practitioners to their teams. These settings provide safe, nurturing and stimulating environments where children are encouraged to learn through play, develop confidence and reach key developmental milestones with the support of dedicated Early Years professionals.

We are looking for a full-time Unqualified Nursery Practitioner to work on a temporary basis with opportunities for ongoing placements. The successful Unqualified Nursery Practitioner will support children across a variety of age groups, follow the EYFS curriculum, deliver engaging activities, work closely with the nursery team and provide a safe, positive and inclusive environment where every child can thrive.

The successful Unqualified Nursery Practitioner will have:

  • A minimum of 3 to 6 months' experience working within a UK nursery setting
  • A good understanding of the UK Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum
  • A proactive attitude with the confidence to use initiative throughout the day
  • The ability to engage and build positive relationships with children of all ages
  • Confidence managing and supporting larger groups of children in a busy nursery environment
  • The ability to follow direction, communicate effectively and work collaboratively as part of a team
