Responsibilities
- You will be responsible for delivering GCSE and Functional Skills Maths to learners aged 16+, planning engaging lessons that inspire progression and achievement.
- The successful Maths Lecturer will play a key role in supporting students to overcome barriers to learning, raise attainment levels, and prepare confidently for exams and future employment opportunities.
Qualifications
- A relevant teaching qualification such as PGCE, Cert Ed or equivalent.
- Experience delivering GCSE and/or Functional Skills Maths within a further education setting.
- Strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for Maths education.
- Excellent classroom management and learner engagement skills.
- The ability to plan and deliver creative, differentiated lessons.
- A positive, resilient and adaptable approach to teaching and learning.
