TeacherActive are proud to be working with a large number of Secondary Schools across Leicester. We are actively recruiting for Teaching Assistants and SEND Teaching Assistants to support our school network with quality and consistent staff.
Our Teaching Assistants play a vital role in schools, whether on a day to day, long-term or permanent basis. The role of a Teaching Assistant doesn’t include planning and preparation, however strong communication and classroom management skills are a must.
Responsibilities- Support teaching and learning in classrooms across various departments and age ranges (11 to 16+)
- Help manage behaviour to keep students engaged
- Be flexible to work throughout the school within different departments and with different age ranges daily
- CACHE LEVEL 2/3 OR 6 months experience in the UK
- Be confident in their ability to manage a class of students within the age range 11 to 16+
