Are you a qualified Design and Technology Teacher with experience teaching across KS3 and KS4? Can you inspire students through engaging and practical Design and Technology lessons? Do you have strong classroom management and a ‘can-do’ attitude?
TeacherActive is proud to be working with a two-form-entry secondary school based in Stockport, who are looking to appoint a Design and Technology Teacher. The school provides education for secondary-aged students and is looking for an enthusiastic teacher who can positively contribute to the department.
The school is looking to take on a Design and Technology Teacher on a full-time, long-term basis starting in September. The successful Design and Technology Teacher will be teaching across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4, planning and delivering engaging lessons while maintaining high expectations of behaviour and student progress.
The successful Design and Technology Teacher will have:
- QTS with a Design and Technology specialism (ECTs are welcome to apply)
- Experience teaching Design and Technology across KS3 and KS4
- Strong knowledge of the Design and Technology curriculum
- Excellent classroom management
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- A positive and adaptable approach to teaching
