Are you a creative and energetic Nursery Assistant who loves bringing learning to life through play, imagination and exploration? The nurseries are looking for enthusiastic Nursery Assistants to join their teams on a temporary basis, supporting children aged 6 months to 4 years. As a Nursery Assistant, you will be a positive role model who helps children feel safe, valued and eager to learn. You will confidently manage small groups, encourage positive behaviour, and create engaging play-based activities that develop children's communication, social, cognitive and motor skills. SEND experience is desirable but not essential, as full support and guidance will be provided for the right Nursery Assistant with the right attitude and passion.

The successful Nursery Assistant will have:

  • A genuine passion for supporting young children during their early development
  • A caring, patient and positive approach, acting as an excellent role model for children
  • Confidence in managing groups of children and promoting positive behaviour
  • An understanding of the importance of learning through play and creating stimulating learning experiences
  • A willingness to learn and develop knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and safeguarding
