We are looking for an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant to join our respected school based in DA from September. The role supports pupils with Autism/ASD and Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD) in a nurturing, inclusive environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist with classroom support, personal care as required, and help create a positive, engaging learning environment.
- Adapt to each child’s individual needs and support pupils throughout the school day.
Qualifications
- Experience working within a SEND school, care setting or similar environment.
- Experience supporting children or young people with Autism/ASD and PMLD.
- Confidence providing personal care.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Positive, patient and adaptable approach.
- Genuine passion for supporting children and young people with additional needs.
