The Role:

  • Planning and delivering engaging and challenging lessons in line with the Year 5 curriculum.
  • Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment that enables all pupils to succeed.
  • Assessing, monitoring, and tracking pupil progress to ensure strong outcomes.
  • Preparing pupils for the transition into Year 6 and supporting their academic and personal development.
  • Working closely with colleagues, parents, and support staff to provide the best possible educational experience for every child.
  • Promoting high standards of behaviour, achievement, and wellbeing throughout the classroom and wider school community.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Experience teaching in Key Stage 2, ideally within Upper Key Stage 2.
  • Strong curriculum knowledge and effective classroom management skills.
  • High expectations for pupil achievement and behaviour.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A passion for inspiring children and helping them reach their full potential.
