TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream secondary school in Dartford that is looking to appoint a Teacher of Maths for a long-term position with the opportunity to become permanent. The school supports students from a wide range of socioeconomic backgrounds and prides itself on creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment where all students are encouraged to achieve their full potential.
The school is looking to take on a dedicated Maths Teacher from September on a full-time basis. The successful Maths Teacher will be expected to deliver engaging lessons across the secondary age range, support students of all abilities including those with SEND, and use quality first teaching principles to maintain high standards, strong behaviour management and excellent levels of engagement within the classroom.
The successful Maths Teacher will have:
- QTS
- A BSc in Mathematics, or a related subject
- Experience teaching Maths within a UK secondary school setting
- Experience supporting students with SEND and challenging behaviour
- Excellent classroom management and behaviour management strategies
- The ability to build strong relationships with students and colleagues
