An outstanding secondary school in Waltham Forest is looking to appoint an Economics and Business Teacher on a full-time, one-year fixed term contract from September 2026. Responsibilities
- The successful Economics and Business Teacher will teach mixed ability groups from Year 10 onwards.
- Students follow the AQA syllabus at A-level for Economics and Business, the AQA syllabus for GCSE Business and the OCR syllabus for GCSE Economics.
- The Economics and Business department achieves outstanding results across both key stages, and there is a TLR available with this role for a KS4 Coordinator.
- This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Economics and Business Teacher seeking additional responsibility within a high-performing department.
Requirements
- Hold QTS
- Have a degree in Economics, Business or a closely related subject
- Have experience teaching Economics and Business at GCSE and/or A-level
- Demonstrate excellent subject knowledge and the ability to teach mixed ability groups
- Be able to contribute to outstanding outcomes across KS4 and KS5
- Hold UK Right to Work
