We are seeking a passionate and qualified Early Years Teacher to join a warm, inclusive, and well-established early years setting in East London. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional who is committed to delivering high-quality early education and supporting children’s development in line with the EYFS framework.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging, play-based learning in line with the EYFS
  • Support children’s learning, development, and emotional wellbeing
  • Observe, assess, and track children’s progress
  • Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment
  • Work collaboratively with nursery practitioners and leadership teams
  • Build strong partnerships with parents and carers
  • Ensure safeguarding, health & safety, and welfare requirements are met

Requirements

  • Early Years Teacher Status (EYT), QTS with EYFS experience, or equivalent
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of the EYFS framework
  • Experience working within an early years setting (nursery or reception)
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

Desirable (but not essential)

  • Experience in a leadership or room lead role
  • Experience supporting children with additional needs
