The Primary School believes that all their pupils need to feel loved, cared for, and supported in order to thrive in their learning. They deliver a broad and balanced curriculum designed to meet the needs of all their learners, placing a strong emphasis on developing their pupils' social, emotional, and moral skills through the curriculum and extracurricular activities.
The Primary School is looking to take on a Teaching Assistant on a part-time or full-time basis to support in their classroom. The successful Teaching Assistant will be responsible for ensuring that all the children are getting involved with the classroom activities while supporting those that may require additional help on a one-to-one basis. You will need to be flexible around the times of 08:30am – 15:30pm and hold a can-do, positive attitude when in the role.
The successful Teaching Assistant / TA will have:
- TA qualification or at least 6 months experience working within a classroom setting
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- A good ability to create valued relationships with pupils
- Excellent organisation and communication skills
- Welsh speaking preferred (not essential)
