TeacherActive are recruiting Welsh-Speaking ALN Specialist Teaching Assistants to work in schools across the Carmarthen area.
This is a fantastic opportunity for caring, experienced, and dedicated individuals who are passionate about inclusive education and supporting pupils with a range of additional learning needs.
Successful candidates will need to be adaptable, patient, and confident supporting pupils with a variety of needs while working closely with teachers and the wider ALN team.
What We're Looking For:
- Fluent Welsh speaker – essential
- Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
- Experience supporting pupils with ALN - essential
- Experience working with children or young people in an educational setting
- A genuine passion for inclusive education and pupil development
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- A patient, resilient, positive, and proactive attitude
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
