A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant in a SEND school in Liverpool to support the students with day-to-day learning and activities. The post requires a talented Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant who can take the lead in supporting the children’s personal targets and promoting positive behaviour. Applicants must have a minimum of 6 months experience working with young children with SEND or within the care sector. You will need to feel confident within a classroom environment and be able to take direction from a class teacher.
The role will include:
- Assisting the teacher with classroom preparation
- Working with students who require specialist support
- Helping the class teacher with pupil observations
