About the Role
As a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner, you will work as part of a dedicated team to provide high-quality care, education and support to children aged 0-5.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment for children.
- Supporting children's learning and development in line with the EYFS.
- Planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate activities.
- Supporting children's individual interests, needs and development.
- Completing observations and contributing to children's learning journeys.
- Building positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
- Promoting children's social, emotional, physical and educational development.
- Maintaining high standards of safeguarding, health and safety.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to provide outstanding early years provisions
The Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate will:
- Hold a Level 3 qualification in Early Years / Childcare or an equivalent recognised qualification.
- Have previous experience working within a nursery or early years environment.
- Have a genuine passion for supporting young children's development.
- Be caring, enthusiastic, patient and reliable.
- Have a good understanding of the EYFS and safeguarding.
- Be confident communicating with children, parents and other professionals.
- Be able to work effectively as part of a team.
- Be committed to providing the highest standard of care and education.
