TeacherActive is proud to be working with a welcoming, local school in Derby who are looking for a passionate and caring Level 3 Teaching Assistant to support them full time. We\’re looking for an experienced Level 3 Teaching Assistant with a Childcare or NVQ qualification that\’s worked with children in Early Years previously.

Responsibilities

• Support the classroom teacher and contribute to a positive learning environment for early years pupils.
• Assist with activities, routines, and play to promote developmental progress.
• Provide personal care when required (feeding babies and changing nappies).

Qualifications

• Level 3 Qualification in Childcare/Early Years required
• Previous experience working in a primary school & nursery
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• A passion for working with young children and making a difference in their lives
• Exceptional knowledge of safeguarding
