The Role
- Provide high-quality classroom support across a range of subjects
- Deliver targeted interventions with individuals and small groups
- Support pupils with a variety of learning needs, including Additional Learning Needs (ALN)
- Encourage independence, confidence, and positive learning behaviours
- Assist teachers with lesson preparation and classroom organisation
- Foster a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment
- Work collaboratively with teaching staff and the wider school team
Requirements
- Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
- Previous experience supporting children or young people within a school setting
- Knowledge of supporting pupils with ALN is desirable
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Positive, reliable, and proactive approach
- Ability to build strong relationships with pupils and colleagues
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
