The setting provides a nurturing and structured environment where students are encouraged to build confidence, independence and positive relationships.
The school is looking to take on a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant on a temp to perm basis starting in September. The successful SEND Teaching Assistant will support students with ASC and PDA both in and out of the classroom, helping to manage behaviours, reduce anxiety and promote engagement with learning.
The successful SEND Teaching Assistant will have:
- Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
- Experience working with children or young people with ASC
- Knowledge or experience supporting students with PDA
- Previous experience in a SEND school or specialist provision
- A calm, patient and adaptable approach
- Strong communication and behaviour management skills
