We are currently recruiting a Level 3 Early Years Teaching Assistant to work in a nursery setting within an inner-city school in East Birmingham.

This is a full-time role supporting children in the Early Years Foundation Stage, helping to create a safe, engaging, and nurturing learning environment where pupils can thrive.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

Hold a Level 3 qualification in Childcare
or a Level 3 Supporting Teaching and Learning qualification

Have previous experience working in a nursery or Early Years setting (private nursery or school-based)

Be confident supporting children’s learning, development, and wellbeing

Be enthusiastic, reliable, and committed to safeguarding children

Have the right to work in the UK

Be able to provide 2x references from recent employers

Hold a DBS on the Update Service
or be willing to complete a new DBS check through TeacherActive

Additional Information:

This role is for a specific nursery school, however suitable candidates should be open to working across other nurseries and schools in East Birmingham when required
