The predicted salary is between 30000 - 39000 £ per year.

The successful Tutor will deliver approximately 15 hours of tuition per week, working with pupils on a 1:1 basis. Tuition may take place in a child's home, education centre or local library.

Responsibilities include:

  • Creating personalised learning plans
  • Delivering Maths, English and Functional Skills sessions
  • Adapting teaching to support pupils working below expected standards across Primary and Secondary age groups

Qualifications:

  • QTS or a minimum of 6 months' experience delivering 1:1 tuition
  • Experience supporting children and young people with SEND
  • Strong understanding of adaptive teaching and personalised learning
  • Knowledge of Pre-Key Stage assessment and measuring small‑step progress
  • Experience teaching Maths, English or Functional Skills
  • Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills
