The school is committed to helping every student develop academically, socially and emotionally through personalised support and high-quality care.

The school is looking to appoint a Learning Care Assistant on either a short-term or long-term basis, starting in September. The successful Learning Care Assistant will work closely with pupils across the school, supporting their learning, promoting independence and assisting with their personal, social and emotional development throughout the school day.

The successful Learning Care Assistant will have:

  • Experience supporting children or young people with SEN
  • A caring, patient and compassionate approach
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • The ability to support students with a range of additional learning needs
  • A proactive and positive attitude towards learning and development
  • Flexibility and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
