The school promotes creativity, self-expression and academic achievement, encouraging students to develop confidence both inside and outside of the classroom.

The school is looking to appoint a dedicated Performing Arts Teacher on a long-term basis from September. The successful Performing Arts Teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging Drama and Dance lessons across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4, assessing student progress, supporting school productions and creating an inclusive learning environment where students can thrive.

Qualifications
  • QTS with a Drama, Dance or Performing Arts specialism
  • Experience teaching Drama, Dance or Performing Arts within a UK secondary school
  • Experience delivering lessons across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4
  • Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • A creative, enthusiastic and adaptable approach to teaching
